The Harvest Partnership Limited takes the issue of client confidentiality and privacy very seriously. All client data is treated with utmost care. This statement sets out our view and practice concerning how we use client data.

What data might we hold about you?

Any information which you choose to provide to us, such as passport and driving licence numbers (where available) that may be required to identify you. We may very occasionally also use the services of a credit rating agency who may record the search.

How might we use any data we obtain?

This website is provided by us to give you insight into our services and some of the opportunities which may assist you in your personal financial planning needs. To transact business we must obtain certain information from you about you and your financial circumstances. This information is held securely by us and will not be transmitted to any party not connected with the business under discussion such as Product Providers, our regulators and professional indemnity insurers.

If you request to receive our regular newsletter we may write to you to inform you of products and services which may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive such information please contact us so that we may remove your personal details from the database.

What are "cookies"?

Cookies allow us to make our website more useful based on information about your preferences when you visit. Most commercial websites add functionality and a more tailored user experience by the use of cookies, but only if your computer browser is set to accept them. A cookie contains information that is stored on your computer hard drive for record keeping purposes. If you do not wish for information to be recorded in this way, you are able to configure your browser to refuse cookies or to notify you when you have received one.

Is there anything I can do to help?

Yes. Avoid sending personal data such as National Insurance Number and bank account details by unsecured email. If you must send such information by email please try and protect it from prying eyes by using password-protected pdf documents, for example. Simply telephone us to confirm the password so that we can open the document when it arrives.

Where is your data stored?

All personal data provided by you is held securely and in confidence by us. Data is stored either in physical files in our offices in the traditional manner or in electronic form on our dedicated office servers. Archived files are usually stored electronically. We use off-site back-up services located in the United States of America so this data will be stored outside EC states. All electronic transmission of data is under 128 bit military-grade encryption.

The Harvest Partnership Limited is the registered data controller of your personal data for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998. You have the right to inspect the data we hold about you at any time providing that does not compromise the confidentiality of other client records.
