John Morris

With over 33 years' experience in the world of professional financial services, John is passionate about investment. John is Managing Director and co-founder of The Harvest Partnership Ltd with his wife of 30 years, Beth Morris.

More than anything, John has brought traditional investment values into the Independent Financial Advice arena. Under his direction The Harvest Partnership Ltd has flourished with the development of investment strategies that are second-to-none and which are extremely valuable to those clients seeking income and growth from their portfolios - very few IFAs are comfortable with investment and, of these, only a handful possess this level of experience and breadth and depth of knowledge that separates The Harvest Partnership Ltd from the rest. John's experience now spans several economic cycles and this experience is woven into every recommendation that the company provides.

John's party trick is writing backwards with his left hand in copperplate script whilst at the same time writing forwards with his right in the same cursive style! John is also the proud owner of a 1967 Routemaster bus, still in Metroline livery, complete with route 390 destination blinds. So visits to the Royal Albert Hall and Kings Cross are definately possible! In the words of Beth, "It makes people happy".

John is also a keen motorcyclist. His current steed is a 2001 BMW R1100RT in Opal Blue, courtesy of Bath Road Motorcycles. Incidentally, John hand coded these web pages. The dropped caps are all done in CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), as distinct to graphically. "Cross platform rendering is always tricky as browsers vary so much", he said.

John and Beth have three grown-up children. Beth has four grown-up children -- the three she had with John and John.

Beth Morris

Beth has been our Company Secretary since we launched in 1995. She grew up in Kansas, USA, in the very heart of the fruited-plain that is the American Mid West. As the youngest daughter of a Baptist minister, Beth was affectionately known to her childhood friends as 'PK' or Preacher's Kid.

After graduating from Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma, Beth's early career was as an educator in the field of special needs education. She was then involved in Christian mission with Youth With A Mission (YWAM), spending time in the former Eastern Bloc countries of Czechoslovakia, East Germany and the Soviet Union itself.

Beth brings meticulous attention to detail and an abiding faith to everything she does. Along with the Company Secretary role, she is also co-director of The Harvest Partnership Ltd with husband, John. She is also a talented voice-over artist.

After the careful co-ordination of her childrens' education, Beth's other interests include reading, especially Bibilical allegories - her favourite author being Francine Rivers - and homemaking. Beth has lived in the UK since 1986 and in 2011 became a British citizen and is now able to enter the UK with a British passport!

Bonnie Stevens

Bonnie hails from the mountains of Tennessee in the USA where she grew up and attended University, completing Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees before pursuing a career in secondary education.

To support her teaching 'habit', Bonnie trained and worked part-time with Primerica Financial Services, a subsidiary of what is now Citigroup, before moving to the UK and training as a financial adviser with The Harvest Partnership Ltd in 2003. Bonnie later moved to Broadstairs where she worked with a local firm of financial advisers before re-joining the team at The Harvest Partnership Ltd in 2012.

Bonnie brings a clear client-focused ethic to the task of managing client portfolios which she approaches with industry and efficiency. Her organisational skills are exemplary and highly valued within the Company where she is taking increasing responsibility within the management team.

Bonnie is an active member of her church and local community. Bonnie is a complete vegetarian, not eating anything with either a face or a mother.

Daniel Cornish

Daniel joined The Harvest Partnership Ltd at the start of 2014. Daniel read Philosophy, Politics and Economics at university. He has always had a strong interest in the world of finance and having gained the Diploma in Financial Advice is now qualified to provide financial advice whilst, at the same time, absorbing all he can from John and the other experienced people in the office.

Daniel is very client-focused and constantly strives to improve service levels on a daily basis. He likes to listen carefully to clients so that he may find the best solution to their needs.

Passionate about rugby and an avid gym-goer, Daniel is always happy to talk about sport: be it the Football World Cup or the local Tiddlywinks Tournament, sport is in Daniel's blood. That and DIY. Daniel lives in Wakefield, Yorkshire with his wife, Laura and daughter, Aurora.

Daniel and Laura are also the proud owners of a delightful Cavischon puppy, probably the friendliest dog one could ever meet!.

Gretchen Nichols

Gretchen is a native of Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Passionate about world cultures and linguistics, her wanderlust has led her to study at universities in Alabama, New Mexico and Spain where she earned her B.A. and M.A in French and Spanish. Gretchen has a background of nearly 20 years teaching Spanish and French in the US, and taught English whilst living in Italy.

Gretchen has settled well into her new career in financial services, and is now managing The Harvest Partnership Ltd's Bromley office. Over time she plans to seek her Level 4 financial adviser qualification which will not only be of use in day-to-day client contact, but will also provide a firm foundation for participating in the development of the Company, drawing upon management skills gained as Faculty Department Head in the United States.

Gretchen enjoys exploring the English countryside with husband Keith, along with her beloved West Highland Terrier, Lily.

Michelle Miller

Michelle joined the Broadstairs office in September 2015 and brings with her a wealth of experience in the financial services sector. Qualified to Level 4 with the Institute of Financial Services, Michelle's principle role is as paraplanner to John and Bonnie. This involves research, writing Suitability Reports, assisting with business processing and general matters arising on both new and existing business.

In addition, Michelle will be taking an oversight role in general compliance issues across the Company, drawing upon managerial experience gained with a leading building society.

Michelle's hobbies include reading, gym and TV, but not necessarily in that order. Michelle and husband, Andy live in a village near Margate.

Julia Hermitage

Julia has 20 years' experience in financial services administration and has lived and worked on the Isle of Thanet for most of her life. She recently enhanced her financial services knowledge by completing the Chartered Insurance Institute Award in Financial Administration (CF1 and FA1).

Having previously worked for other well-established local Independent Financial Advisers, Julia has experience in administering a vast array of financial products and prides herself in providing personal and professional customer service.

Outside of work, Julia spends her me time running and has been an active member of the Thanet Roadrunners Athletic Club for nearly eight years during which time she has completed seven full marathons, including the 2015 London Marathon! In previous years she has run twice for the Steve Redgrave Trust and once for Pilgrims Hospices, a charity providing specialist hospice care for patients and families in East Kent.

Other hobbies include eating out, with Thai cuisine being a hot favourite! To complete the picture, Julia's other passions include the cinema, reading and live music. She can also handle a camera, having taken the picture of Michelle (above).

Dana Moore

Dana joined our Bromley team year or so ago. Already she and Gretchen have worked wonders in improviing our systems.

Dana hails from the Slovak Republic. Her English is outstanding, having previously worked as an official interpreter with many years' experience. We, in turn, are making the effort to learn some words in the Slovak language with a view to helping Dana feel more at home in her adopted country.

Dana is an enthusiastic West Highland White Terrier (Westie) owner. Hers is called Alfie. Alfie keeps her busy and is a constant reminder that daily walks help maintain a healthy lifestyle. Other hobbies include cooking, including forays into world cuisine. Dana also enjoys designing dressmaking patterns from scratch and completing challenging sewing projects. So much so, that she has bolstered her skills via evening classes.

Dana got married in December of last year!

Incidentally, Dana's name is pronounced 'Danna' as in 'Tanner'.
